Here is Wyatt all ready to head over to the rehearsal at Regents Glenn. This is a pic of the family at the Roosevelt Tavern, where the rehearsal dinner was held. Wyatt was super silly at dinner.
Back to the rehearsal:
The rehearsal dinner was held at the Roosevelt Tavern. It was delicious!! The crabcakes were amazing and Wyatt downed all the bread and cupcakes. At one point Wyatt looked at Great Grandma Peggy who was having a piece of bread and was giving her this look like "that's my bread lady". We all had a great time and there was even a live band playing. When we took Wyatt to see the band he was totally into their performance and just stared as they played their instruments. Wyatt also learned how to take shots of water from the shot glass Indiana Jones style from Mommy's Aunt Carol. And he had a great time playing with Mommy's Uncle Steve. He was cracking up at all the stuff Uncle Steve was doing and kept giving it right back to him. Wyatt was having a blast!
In the true tradition of our family and rehearsals we ended up showing up an hour late because we got so lost on the way. Mommy and Daddy were very stressed and kept arguing about how to get there because they were a little confused on the instructions. They tried the GPS but that was not very helpful. The GPS led to another country club that was nearby and after Mommy asked the golf cart attenants it was back on the road to try to find the rehearsal. Then the GPS led us up a small path which seemed like it was the right way. That is until we got further down the path and realized we were in the middle of a golf course and were driving in the huge suburban on a cart path. All of the golfers looked really confused at us being there and trying to turn around was a bit tricky but once we did the sprinklers hit the sun and there were rainbows all over the golf course. After agreeing to chill out a bit and to figure it out together Mommy and Daddy finally arrived at their destination. The rehearsal was already underway, but we rehearsed the entrance and exit two times after that so Wyatt was able to get his part down.
Mommy told Wyatt that there was frogs in the pond before they started walking out and sure enough once we started on our journey Wyatt pointed out a said "Mommy froggies in the water" he was so excited he almost fell down the stairs. LOL! Then he started doing the "Wade Shuffle" (a thing all the kids seem to do at daycare and no one knows where it came from but Daddy and Mommy always thought it originated from Wade and the rest of the kids just followed along. Its like a side ways gallop with Charlie Chaplin show arms.) down the aisle. He was too cute. It was a lot to sit through the other stuff so Mommy let Wyatt look at the cell phone for a while.
The second time Wyatt walked out he was carrying Mommy's cell phone and at the bottom of the stairs he decided to change the show he was watching and he put the phone on the grass and started looking for his episode while Mommy dragged him along. Once he found his show he was ready to start up again and he was right back to the Wade Shuffle.

You look so beautiful and glamorous with your hair like that!
That must have been pretty wild driving on the golf course!
It looks like such a pretty place to have a wedding and Wyatt must have been the main attraction!
