Middletown Carnival

There is nothing more fun than a day that starts out like any other (Daddy and Mommy going to work and Wyatt going to school) but then takes a fun turn at the end of the day.  Today Mommy raced over to Wyatt's school to pick him up and then headed up to Middletown for the Middletown carnival.

Wyatt was very excited to do all the rides and the games, but he was pretty scared to get on the Ferris Wheel.  Daddy was going to take him on but he was too scared and said he would only ride if Mommy went with him.  Not going to lie Mommy was a lot scared too but since it is important for Wyatt to learn to be daring Mommy put her big girl pants on and took Wyatt on the Ferris Wheel.  It was pretty scarey since it sounded a little rickety but everything went ok and it turned out to be a great way to see the whole place.

Daddy and Wyatt were masters at the games.  They won soooo many games and we had a lot of prizes to carry around the carnival.  By the end of the night Pappy had his hands full of cool new prizes. Here is Wyatt and Daddy fishing for some neat prizes.  They caught three fish and got some pretty cool prizes.
It looks like Grandma is going to be in for a big surprise when they turn all the water on-LOL
Wyatt choosing his duckies.  He got a lot of prizes from this game.
Grandma took Wyatt down the giant slide.  Wyatt liked it so much he had to go again with Daddy.
Wyatt and Daddy going through the Monkey Maze.  Wyatt LOVED this little fun house.
Here he is getting ready to go back through the fun house again.
Wyatt and Mrs. Marie played the wiffle ball game and each of them won a small prize so they decided to put their small prizes together to get this giant ball:
Wyatt coming out of another play funhouse thing.  He loves those so much it always shows off his skills in climbing.
 Where's the fire?
 Driving along in my automobile:
Daddy and Wyatt on the bumper cars.  Wyatt was pretty worried when they would get hit but soon he realized it was all a part of the fun!
This was an awesome ride!  It was like a whip but in race cars and for some reason it was like a  minute ride.  Wyatt had a blast whipping around that corner.
 Helecopter Wyatt:
Daddy and Wyatt watching the lady make funnel cakes.  It was neat to watch her pour the batter into the oil and watch it become the funnel cake.
Wyatt and Pappy playing with one of Wyatt's big prizes, SPIDERMAN, Wyatt won that all by himself by using all of his strength to hit one of those targets and ring a bell.  What can I say he gets all his strength from his Momma!
The boyscouts had a dunking booth set-up and Daddy being a former boyscout had to help out the organization.  Here he is aiming for the target (he missed).
But Wyatt didn't.  Wyatt got to stand a little closer to the target and after two balls he had it down and was able to hit the target and knock the boyscout in. Way to go Bubbas!!!
Afterward we all sat at a table and talked while eating yummy ice cream.  We had so much fun we didn't even notice that the carnival was over and everyone had packed things up and left.  We were the only ones there and I must say it was the best way to be able to find your car after a long fun day!
