Christmas Day

After we were done opening up our gifts from Santa Claus we headed over to Uncle John & Aunt Maggie's House for our annual Christmas Day celebration.

We had lots of presents to open!  The whole living room was filled with all the gifts:

Wyatt was all about snacking down when we arrived.  We had lots of good eats!
And an array of delicious desserts!  It was a blast.  The boys had a great time playing with all their new toys!  It was a great holiday celebration with lots of food and family.  We were all so happy with the gifts we received and really enjoyed getting to spend lots of time together.

Christmas Morning

Wyatt was very lucky this year and I must say Santa was very kind to him because Wyatt got a lot of great new toys!  He has been very good all year long and has been working really hard on all the things Santa asked him to last year so he knew he was due for a great reward.

Here is the Christmas tree very late at night after Santa made his visit to our house:

Looks like Santa really enjoyed his cookies; Wyatt & Sugar's stockings full of goodies and surprises:

Wyatt walked downstairs and the first thing he noticed was his brand new bike!  Just like he asked and Santa delivered a new cool blue bike!

We are one lucky family!
Wyatt got some new joke books from Santa Claus.  I guess Santa wants to hear some better knock knock jokes too.

Wyatt find a big one:
What could Santa have brought him?
A BLUE LIGHTSABER!!!!!  It is really neat and makes lightsaber sounds just like in the movie. It is a replica of Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber before he turns into Darth Vader so COOL!

Something cool from Daddy & Mommy:
Wyatt really likes his neat castle that makes all sorts of cool sounds and responds to attackers.
Daddy opens the present Wyatt picked out for him at the North Pole:

Christmas Eve

Wyatt waited and waited very patiently every night asking whether Santa Claus would be coming that night and each night it was the same sad answer well....except tonight!  Wyatt was very excited when he finally came to the last door in his advent calendar.  He knew that Santa Claus was going to give him a visit with lots of toys and goodies just for him.  But he also knew that he had to be a good boy too fortunatly Grandma and Pappy came over to celebrate Christmas Eve with Wyatt and make sure he stayed on Santa's good list.

Here is Wyatt opening the last door in his advent calendar:

The outside of the house all decorated and ready for Christmas:

And the inside too along with a very cozy fire:

Grandma and Pappy came over and Mommy was getting dinner together so while Mommy and Daddy got everything all finished up Grandma, Pappy and Wyatt sang Christmas Carols.  We all sang 12 Days of Christmas and each of us had our very own part.  It was a lot of fun but I think Wyatt's favorite song this year was "Santa Claus is Coming to Town". He really got down to that one!

After our Christmas chorus show we all sat down to a nice dinner.  Wyatt even had a feast of his own with all of his favorite foods on the plate.

Then Wyatt opened Mommy & Daddy's Christmas present from Grandma and Pappy.
It was a very beautiful ornament and perfect for Wyatt's first year as a shepard:

Wyatt and Sugar goofing around:

Lots of delicious cookies and yummy peanut butter balls for dessert:

Next we headed downstairs to watch Christmas movies and play games.  We all decided to play the Game of Life.  Wyatt showing his spirit:

Stan and Sugar have a little Christmas snuggle:

Pappy Claus all ready to play the Game of Life:

After the game it was getting very late and Wyatt knew Santa was going to be coming in just a few short hours so he had to get all of the cookies and milk laid and out and ready for Santa's arrival.

Wyatt chose each cookie very carefully and laid them all out just right for Santa Claus:

Then we each got a book about Christmas to read to Wyatt.

Grandma reading "How the Grinch Stole Christmas":

Daddy reading "The Sweet Smell of Christmas":

Just before heading off to bed we opened up our gifts:

And the Pappy read to Wyatt "The Night Before Christmas"

Momma and Wyatt all cozy in Wyatt's room:
