Disney World the Prequel- 11/6 & 11/7

To celebrate Grandma and Pappy's 30th wedding anniversary we decided to take a trip down to Disney World. What a better way to celebrate 30 years of marriage than in the happiest place on Earth? It was a fantastic trip that was jam-packed with activities. Since flying is sort of a risk now-a-days and a huge expense we decided to drive down. It is always more fun driving I think because you get to see different states on your way down.

This year we began our drive very early in the morning with a super tired Bubs but Mommy and Daddy were rarein to go.

The drive down went very well and before we knew it we were in Savannah, Georgia checking in at the Hyatt hotel. What did Mommy love the most about Savannah? THE BENIGETS!!! They were so super delicious! After a yummy meal in Savannah we decided to walk around the streets. There is always hustle and bustle in the area and the historic streets and buildings are so beautiful next to the waterside. As you can see I still have Georgia on my mind.

We caught this show just before dinner. They were really great cloggers. We thought Wyatt was going to join the show- this boy was ready for his spotlight.Mommy chowed down on those benigetsAnd wore her powdered Sugar goatee with pride. Momma loves her Southern cooking.

This is the view from our room in Savannah:

After a wonderful nights stay and an awesome Southern breakfast we hit the road for Florida. It is sort of a tradition to stop at the Florida Welcome center for some delicious Florida Orange Juice.Wyatt loved the kiddie corner they had and sat in the kiddie chair enjoying his fresh cup of OJ.For his second cup (yeah he went back for more) he decided that sitting at the kiddie table was the way to do it. I bet if we had let him he would have gone back for a third cup.Look up ahead! Not too long after we left the Welcome Center did we arrive at the Bonnet Creek Resort. It was amazing. The place was so big and had these gorgeous wood accents. We were def. in Heaven.

After resting up a bit in the hotel Mommy, Daddy, Bubbas, Grandma, Pappy, Uncle John, Aunt Maggie, and Cousin William all headed over to Cinderella's Royal Table for a celebratory dinner since that was the night of Grandma and Pappy's actual wedding anniversary. The castle looked so beautiful all decorated for Christmas. Here is the happy couple now:
This is Daddy, Mommy, and Bubbas outside of the Magic Kingdom.

I know what these guys are looking at...

Wyatt and William meeting Cinderella.

You can tell the boys aren't too sure about that knight in the background. They both look like they think he is going to attack. LOL.

At Cinderella's Castle they gave the boys these plastic swords to play with. I love this picture it reminds me of King Arthur pulling the sword from the stone.

Of course no King is complete without a Queen or a princess...this was by far Wyatt's favorite princess, Snow White.

Why was she his favorite? Because she gave him this...

And it didn't wash off for days.

The dinner was delicious! After dinner we headed down to the lobby where Daddy and Mommy got a nice picture taken.

and Wyatt and William ganged up against that nasty Knight--get 'em guys get 'em!

Overall it was a beautiful night and was the perfect place to celebrate my parents being married for 30 years. Such a romantic spot:

We had a bit of a wait outside for the monorail so Wyatt and William entertained us all with some dancing to Christmas music. They sure can get down!

Wyatt did take a few minutes to rest though...

Here is Grandma, Pappy, mommy, Daddy, and Wyatt on our way back to the hotel. When did those trams become thrill rides?

Trust me there's more....

This picture of all of us on the tram reminds me of the opening of Three's Company. Come and Knock on Our Door....
What a fantastic trip we had with our favorite people!
