Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch

Wyatt had a great time this year at Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch! Mommy, Daddy, Pappy and Grandma could barely keep up with him. He was all over and was working really hard on his animal noises while on the farm. I think it helped to have him around all those animal so he could hear them making their noises. When the cows would moo he would get this huge smile and giggle! There were all sorts of fun activities for him to do and he loved getting to pet all of the animals.
Last year Wyatt was almost at the 2 mark but now he is almost to the 3 mark. My how he has grown! Here is his picture from last year at Jumbos:And here he is this year, my we got a big boy toddler on our hands! There were lots of animals to touch and see. There were goats:

two sheep...

who enjoyed being pet by everyone. Here is Daddy and Wyatt petting the sheep. Just before we left the sheep (who had been eating for a long time) threw up on Wyatt's hand. I think it scared Wyatt a little at first but then he thought it was silly. Mommy and Daddy didn't worry since a handwashing station was right next to the pen.

They had piggies too which is always Wyatt's favorite. He was doing his piggy noises to try to get them to wake up and come over but they were enjoying their nap too much. Here is Wyatt trying to coax the piggies over to see him. Wyatt even got to drive a tractor

well sort of...He loved the horses. He was so gentle too. Wyatt would climb up the fence and reach out for the horsey. Then we headed over to the barn where there was cowboy hats, goody bags, candy, and

face painting! Wyatt loved cookie monster so we thought he would like to have a cookie monster on his face. He sat very very still and was so patient while she painted the cookie monster. And then when she showed him in the mirror I think he was surprised to see a Cookie Monster on his face:

Then we headed over for some pony rides.

After riding on the pony he decided that he was going to feed the horsey some hay. The horsey was so happy to have some more yummy hay and would tickle Wyatt's hand when he gave it to him.

My little Scarecrow:

Next, we headed over to the cow pen. Wyatt really loved the calfs and was super gentle with them too. Last year he and a calf really bonded so we were wondering what he would be like this year.

But Wyatt was all love and let the calf sniff him first, then gave him some gentle touches, and of course a little kiss. I love my little lovey-dovey Bubby!

Stan also bonded with one of the calves. This cow didn't want to come out and Wyatt kept calling to him. Since he didn't move Wyatt ran to the back of the pen and started knocking on the wood part. He was determined to pet this guy!

Pappy is like the animal whisperer and the calf came right over to him so Wyatt could get his pets in after all. Pappy and Wyatt petting Milo

We were quite the silly bunch.

There was a children's area with some big hay bales where Wyatt could climb all around

He wanted to be King of the Pile and then of course soon after this pic was taken Wyatt jumped off but for a moment he was King.

Then we all took a tractor ride over to the corn maze and pumpkin patch

Wyatt was surprised when he saw all the pumpkins in the field.

Here we all just before heading into the Labryinth Corn Maze.

It was quite a long walk in the corn maze and we hit a lot of dead ends.

Finally we found our way out and at the end of the path was the PUMPKIN PATCH!!!!!
Everyone searched and search through all of the pumpkins

Wyatt saw some perfect little pumpkins

And tested them to make sure they were fresh by sitting on them. Yep this one's good!

Wyatt kept trying to carry the pumpkins on his own, what a strong Bubbas.

Then Wyatt got to take a little hay ride back to the farm.
Then he took a seat or a pumpkin and waited nicely while we all bought the pumpkins and got ready to go get some eats! Wyatt had a blast and was such a joy the whole day!!
