Josie's Birthday Party

Wyatt got invited to his friend from Goddard, Josie's, Birthday Party. We were so excited to take him to Airmania and get the chance to see Wyatt playing with his friend's from Goddard. His friend Andrew was there, and his friend Gianna was there, and of course the birthday girl.

At first Wyatt was too scared to jump in the bounces. Gianna wanted him to jump with her so she came up to him and held his hand and said "Plllllease" It was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Since Wyatt wasn't feeling the jumping we all went over and let them play with the basketball set in the corner. Gianna's dad said Wyatt had quite an arm because he was doing such a great job throwing the balls.

After a while of playing basketball Mommy came up with an idea to have Daddy go in and jump with Wyatt to see if maybe he liked it more that way, and it worked! Here is Wyatt on his very first Moonbonce:See Buddy we told you it would be fun!!! Wyatt LOVED bouncing and was going through all the different kinds of moonbounces but he loved the pirate ship the most. Here is poor Daddy looking like he is held captive by all the kiddies (Peter Pan, much?)

No worries, Wyatt made a daring rescue and they made it out ok!
We decided to go back to the moonbounce we had originally tried Wyatt on (that he didn't like) and with Daddy in there bouncing around Wyatt was ready to go. Gianna saw him bouncing and she came over with her Mommy and Daddy too. Stan, Gianna, her Mommy, and Wyatt played ring around the rosie in the moonbounce and all jumped down. The kids had so much fun. We were so impressed with how friendly Gianna was she went right to Wyatt--so cute!
Here is Wyatt giving the Castle Moonbounce a try:

After we were all finished jumping we took Wyatt out of the moonbounce and we noticed he felt really hot. We brought him in and gave him juice and food but you could tell he wasn't feeling well so we ended up having to leave the party early. It was a good thing we did because Wyatt had a fever of 102. Poor little man had caught Daddy and Mommy's cold, but wow what a sport! I am glad he got to go and have fun with his buddies and it was nice to see him try something new and love it.

What a fun first friend party. I love bounce houses they are the best. That's good that Wyatt got some good bounces in before he had to leave. It's always so sad when they are sick like that but awesome that he's such a good sport about it.
