Halloween at Goddard!

Halloween time at Wyatt's school is always a blast.  All of the kids bring in their Halloween costumes and get dressed up and then everybody parrrrrrtays!!!!!

Here is Wyatt all dressed up in his doggy costume:

This is Wyatt's class.  He really loves hs class and has so many great friends in his class and he has really great teachers this year!

They always have a little parade where the kids walk around the circle in the parking lots and show off all of their costumes.  Here is Wyatt marching in the parade (above).

Mommy and Wyatt after the Halloween parade (below):

We went for a little while to the show to get our dance on.   They weren't allowed to play on the playground for some reason (not sure why not) so Wyatt and Mommy only stayed and played for a little while.
Then it was time to go back to the classroom and get our stuff since there was lots more Halloween fun in store!  Here is Wyatt with the pumpkin he picked out when his class went to pick out pumpkins earlier in the month.  He loved carrying it around by himself.  What a strong Bubby he is!

A Family of Pumpkins

We have had our pumpkins around for a while now and everyday Wyatt has been coming home and seeing all of the pumpkins and labelling each of them: Mommy, Daddy, Wyatt, and Sugar.  He was very excited when he heard it was time for our family pumpkins to find their faces!

Daddy cut the tops off of each of the pumpkins and with each top Wyatt got more and more excited!

And then it was time to take the top off and see all of those yucky guts.

Then it was Mommy & Wyatt's turn to get to work.  Mommy and Wyatt had to scoop out all of the guts.  Wyatt was a little less excited about that.

Then Mommy started in on the carving of the pumpkins.  Wyatt drew on a piece of paper what he wanted Mommy to make for his jack-o-lantern. Wyatt loved looking at their new faces!
Then it was Daddy's turn to come down and give his pumpkin a face:
Now it's time to meet the pumpkins!

Mommy's pumpkin had large circle eyes and a big smile with two teeth.  He is quite the friendly pumpkin!
Since Wyatt was so into labeling the pumpkins we thought it would be neat to carve in each person's pumpkin who it belonged to.  This is Mommy's:

Since Wyatt has been learning a lot about emotions in school he got to tell Mommy what kind of face he wanted for his pumpkin.  He wanted a sad mouth, circle eyes, and a circle nose.  Wyatt said he wanted his pumpkin to have four teeth:
 Wy-wy's backside:
Then came baby Sug's pumpkin which we specifically chose a white one so that it would look like Sugar.  Mommy carved this one too and tried to give it Sugar ears and little Sugar eyes.  She has two little teeth which makes her look a little like a bunny.
 Sug from the back:
Of course Daddy chose to do an angry pumpkin.  I love the pumpkins trekkie eyes!!
Dad is very hard to carve:

All the pumpkins turned around:

It was a lot of fun carving the pumpkins and this was the first time that Daddy, Mommy, and Sugar all got to carve pumpkins together (well sort of).  It was cool for all of us to show our creative sides and show off some of our art skills (LOL).

Not so Scarey Hayride

Today Uncle John, Aunt Maggie, and William invited us to go with them to do a Haunted Hayride.  this was a speial hayride for the little kiddies that had just a little scarey and some silly too.  It was good to do something to remind us that it is still Fall since we were starting to think it was already Winter time (crazy seeing snow in October!).

They had a lot of cute things set up along the way to look at and the kids really got into seeing all the cool things like this big silly ghost.

Poor Daddy and his hay fever.

Here is William kicking back enjoying the ride
Oooh scarey

Wyatt loves riding on the tractor

and they even gave him some yummy treats as we were leaving.

SNOWING?!?!?!?!

IN OCTOBER?????????????

3x the Birthday Fun!!

To celebrate Millie, Aida, and Gaye's birthdays we had a nice dinner at the University Club in the TAFT room (I totally love Taft!!!!) .  Poor Wyatt had falled asleep in the car and was very sleepy in the very beginning of the dinner.

He woke up once he got to dig into all the blackberrys and blueberrys!  They must have heard Wyatt was coming because they had a feast for him!!

Here are the three birthday girls with their birthday desserts:

After the dinner we went over to the coat closet to pick up our coats.  Who knew they endorsed child labor?  We did get great service though:
Mommy, Daddy, and Wyatt at dinner
After dinner we all headed over to Auntie Millie's house to open presents and talk.  Wyatt couldn't wait until William got there.  He kept running over to the window and pulling the curtain back saying "Where's Willwum"
 Mommy and Daddy
Wyatt and William love playing with this big lion.
Everyone sitting around watching everyone opening their gifts (Wyatt is picking his nose)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MILLIE, AIDA, AND GAYE!!

Fall School Pictures

Today we got Wyatt's fall pictures from his school.  Wyatt is in a big boy class called Kittens.  He learns a lot in his class.  They make him read his name on the back of his chair at snack time, they learn their letters and get to bring in things for show and tell about that letter, they also read lots of books and have their very own computer in the room.  Wyatt also really loves that each of them get to have a job during the week like being the line leader or snack helper.  His teacher has also been really helping Mommy and Daddy with Wyatt's eating and has been a great support since she is the Mommy of a picky eater as well and knows how stressful it can be.

Here is our little charming Bubbs and some of his Bubbsisms that we have heard from him at school:

When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up Wyatt said, "I want to be a ghost".  He has the soul of a poet what can I say!
Wyatt really enjoys playing the Elmo game on the computer at school but he also really loves playing with his good friends: Andrew, Wade, Cameron, Carson, and Justin.
Today at school Wyatt got a visit from a police officer (already a law breaker) and he got a badge that says he is a Jr officer which means Daddy better look out when he's driving because Officer Bubbs might give him a ticket.
At school one of the babies fell down and started crying.  Wyatt said "oh no my baby is crying. My baby fell." It is good Wyatt is showing a little love for the underclassman since he is such a big boy on campus these days.

Hershey In The Dark

Daddy had been itching to get on some rides and have a fun family theme park day.  We were originally planning on going to Knobels but then we realized that the park is not opened on Sundays so we figured Hershey Park in the Dark would be a lot of fun to go to.

Here is Daddy and Wyatt outside of Chocolate World:

Nothing like having all that chocolate greeting you from the start!
Wyatt was a little scared at first
but those cows got him all buttered up
and then he got really into it!
 SAY CHEESE!
We measured Wyatt to see what rides we could get on with him.  He our little Hershey Kiss.
Wyatt had a blast getting down to all of the music.  Meanwhile Mommy was just happy to be in Tudor square.

Mommy and Wyatt on the train:

Wyatt loved the bee ride!  He kept making the buzzing sound and was laughing so hard.
 Ahhhh paradise!

Where else can you find Wibby but at chocolate world?
This guy was getting fresh with Momma
Wyatt loved the trick or treat trail and he got a lot of candy. SCORE!!!

This guy just sat up from his coffin
And this guy really loves his porch
 Wyatt...
 not so much.
After the train ride we decided to go get some food.  Wyatt was being a little crazy and wouldn't sit still (too much chocolate?) and he fell off of the bench headfirst into the pavement.  He was ok and just got a  scratch.   Lots of drama ensued since this is the chocolatest place on earth not the happiest place on earth (although we fought there too-LOL) and so it was time to go home.

When we got home everything was ok again and Wyatt was seeming a little down so his cousin William came over to play with him and to cheer him back up.
