Just Beachy

Today we took an impromptu trip to Rehoboth beach (oh the things we will do for pizza cravings). We were so glad we did too because Wyatt was really feeling the water this time. When he was younger he was pretty wary of the water but now he is a wave chaser! While we were walking on the boards he pointed to the ocean and kept shouting "water, water, water" so we decided to take him over to see what he would do. Wyatt had a ball! Here he is with Momma getting ready for the waves. The water was pretty cold but it was still really nice to feel on your feet. Wyatt would laugh whenever the waves would suck back some of the sand and he would sink down.

Mommy and Wyatt did some digging in the sand too. Mommy tried to make a sand crab but it didn't turn out too well.

Then it was right back into the water! Here is Wyatt and Momma just after a huge wave came up and got both of us soaking wet-we look like we are dancing.

Here is Wyatt and Momma waiting for that next big wave to make its way over to us. Wyatt was really good and held on to Mommy's hands really tight.

Bye Bye Beach

Hello OC rides!!! Next we drove over to Ocean City to do some rides and play some games. Wyatt loves to play the games and is becoming a skee ball pro- well kind of. He had a blast on the rides and even got to ride on his very first rollercoaster the Super Duper Looper. This was a ride even Daddy remembered riding when he was a little one. Wyatt did a great job and handled those hills like a pro!
He even tried to take his hands off and hold them in the air.

Daddy and Wyatt riding the carousel.

and outside of Pirates Cove. Wyatt was obsessed with those talking birds so it was hard to get him to look at the camera. Daddy said "Look there's Wade" (one of the kids from Wyatt's class) so that is why Wyatt is looking a little puzzled.

Mommy and Wy-wy flying our fighter plane!

Looks like Grandpa has himself another firefighter!

It was a great day and a great way to spend some quality family time. We are so lucky to live so close to the beach and I know it was great for Wyatt to get to spend some time with sand in his air and ocean water in his underoos.
