All week long Mommy told Wyatt that his birthday party was coming up, and would sing the "Happpy Birthday" song to him. On the day of his party he was very excited to see the upstairs all decorated with lots of balloons and streamers. William walked Wyatt around and showed him all of his birthday stuff and kept saying Happy Birthday Wyatt- he is such a sweet cousin. And since Mommy had extra pieces of red velvet cake left over (my attempts at making pigs ears) Wyatt even got to have cake for breakfast! Here is Wyatt enjoying his birthday boy chair before the party began:
We had LOTS of food for people, including pigs in a blanket, and sandwiches. I made sure that these little piggys could have roast beef and those of us who wanted none could have something else too.
After we all ate, it was time for Wyatt to open his presents. He was very excited to see what was in all of his packages.
He wasn't too sure how to open the gifts yet so William showed him what to do. Wyatt was very happy to see he got some cool cars!!!
William and Wyatt played drums on this present, and if you look at the card William wrote Wyatt's name on the front in very neat writing. Wyatt was very excited when he opened his gift and saw a train set. He LOVES trains soooo much and after the party he was driving the train and cars on the tracks saying "choo-choo" and flying the airplane all around the place.
This gift was way bigger than Wyatt! He loves his new Easel. It fits in the downstairs perfectly and he always has a place to draw. Wyatt is quite the little artist.
Wyatt and William opening up another gift:
Wyatt loves books so much and this made for the perfect bedtime story last night. He liked when Mommy would press the Linus button and Linus would do his Christmas speech. Someone knows the true meaning of Christmas!
William gives Wyatt a birthday hug.
I know the boys are going to have fun with this gift. They both love Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
Wyatt and Millie looking at the book.
After the presents we let all those who wanted to finish watching the Skins game and kept the kids busy by having them hit the pinata and get some candy. The birthday boy was first up:
Next it was William's turn. He really knew how to hit the pinata too.
The boys and Tuppins hoping for some candy.
And BAM all the candy flew to the floor and the boys scrambled around to get it. They did a great job and even tried to clean the candy up and put it back in the pinata. Those are some helpful little guys!
William got his baggie and started putting the candy in there, Wyatt said "Hey, where's mine?"

After the pinata it was time to play "Pig-tionary". We all used Wyatt's new easel to draw clues for everyone to guess. Everything had to do with pigs! William saying , "Daddy you aren't doing it right let me try"
Daddy and Wy-wy take a turn. Wyatt's drawing was the best and Daddy was very surprised to hear that Mommy still remembers the name of the pig from Charlotte's Web (yes that book was that tramatic and that is why people I never kill spiders.)
Millie and Aida getting a closer look to guess the next one...
Final round everyone gathered around to guess.
Ok so, Mommy has no art skills but does have delusions of granduer so she decided it would be great to make a cartoon piggy cake with the pig coming out of the mud. The top (pig face and snout) is a red velvet cake and the bottom is chocolate cake with chocolate frosting.) It turned out ok and there were no egg shells in it so that was a real plus. Actually I have to say the red velvet cake was yummy!

It looks like you all had so much fun! The boys really do look like they could be brothers. Easels are great especially if he uses that and not the walls!
