That's right, it's time to enjoy this gummy smile while we can because today we saw two teeth that broke through the gums! We had been seeing the little bumps on top sides so we thought those were going to be first but they threw a switch-a-roo and his bottom two teeth are on their way out. They have been giving him a little trouble recently but that's nothing some homeopathic remedies and ora-jel can't take care of!

Happy Thanksgiving
Wyatt's Thanksgiving began with the traditional Macy's Day Parade. He snuggled in next to Momma on the couch. The whole family was lounging on the couch watching all of the exciting floats and Broadway numbers. This year for Thanksgiving we went to Great Grandma Peggy's house. We ate lots of food and played a game of Wits and Wagers. Wyatt didn't let his lack of teeth hold him back Wyatt ate turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, corn, green beans, and fresh baked bread. I think Wyatt's favorite was the stuffing--yummy!
Some fun memories of the day:
Wyatt all dressed up in his Thanksgiving gear. He made sure to take a nap before we left so he would be able to play with everyone later in the day.

At Great Grandma's house Wyatt did some crawling...And some supported walking...
And some piano playing. Mommy's Cousin Sammy put Wyatt to work as the entertainment. He was so excited to play the piano.
Then it was Grandma's turn to play the piano but Wyatt didn't want to give up his gig too quickly. Then it was time for a race, Great Grandma jumped into action and awwwwaaaay they go!
A hyper Wyatt gets some time with Grandma in the rocking chair. Momma's Pop-Pop and Grandma used to rock her in that exact spot when she was Wyatt's age. What a treat to have Wyatt get the same treatment.

Taking It In Stride
Today Wyatt got his first real pair of shoes. Mommy and Daddy thought that since Wyatt is on the cusp of walking and his doing a lot more standing that he is going to need a nice pair of shoes to get his feet ready for the big first steps.
Mommy and Daddy had a hard time knowing what size to buy for Wyatt so they brought him to Stride Rite to be fitted with just the right size. The lady had Wyatt stand really tall while she measured his foot (Mommy was sad she didn't bring her camera with her because it would have been a cute photo). Wyatt measured a 4 1/2 Wide and then Mommy and Daddy let Wyatt pick out his very own shoes.

Trick or Treating (Halloween)
For trick or treating this year Daddy and Mommy got Sugar all dressed up in her postal worker outfit and Wyatt instantly starting picking on poor Sug. But then Sugar got even...
then they got Wyatt dressed up in his penguin costume. He loved wearing his costume it was so warm and soft. Here is our sweet little penguin all ready to go and get his treats. After getting all dressed and ready Mommy, Daddy, Sugar, and Wyatt got in the car and went to Uncle John and Aunt Maggie's house for some trick or treating. When we got there a trick was waiting for Daddy, Pop-Pop got all dressed up in a mask and death costume and popped out of the bathroom. It was very funny! Then Nonna, Pop-pop, Uncle John (who was dressed as a dinosaur), Aunt Maggie, Cousin William (who was dressed as an Astronaut), Mommy, Sugar and Daddy went around the neighborhood. Here is Wyatt and Daddy coming back from his first trick or treat house. Wyatt got a lot of nice treats! After visiting several houses in the neighborhood it was time to go back to the house and let the kids play with all the great goodies they got from Nonna and Pop-pop. They both loved their special goody bags! After we all went out for some pizza and fun it was time to go home and Mommy made Wyatt surrender his treats (well he is too young for chocolate but we aren't -LOL). Wyatt had a great time going around to all of the houses but I think his favorite part of the night was going back to the house and getting to play with his big cousin!
