Visit from Sarah and Julia

I just love this picture and I think it really symbolizes the night. Sarah and Julia were the best helpers with Wyatt. They would rub his head, sing him lullabys, read him stories, and play with him. They loved to jump up and down with him while he was in his bouncer. I think Wyatt loved all the attention because all day he has been looking for the girls and he seems a little bummed that they aren't here anymore.
Here is a picture of the kids and baby sug laying on the carpet and watching a movie--too cute! Julia and Auntie Beth holding baby Wyatt.

Sarah rubs Wyatt's hair. He is just like his Momma and loves it when people rub his hair.

Sarah, Julia, and Beth with Baby Wyatt.
A silly pose as we all go falling down.

Another shot of the kids watching Lilo and Stitch on the floor. It was so cute watching them all lay together like that.

Wyatt, Sarah, Julia, and I pose for a pic.

Julia rubbing Wyatt's back. The girls did such a great job soothing Wyatt when he would cry. Julia would rub his back while Sarah sang him a lullaby

North Carolina and Wyatt's First Overnighter

Wyatt had a great time visiting Paul, Heather, and Miss Annabel Lily in North Carolina. This was his first time spending the night away from his home and he did great. Wyatt had so much fun partying he stayed up to midnight with Daddy, Paul, Heather, and Mommy. But I am getting ahead of myself.

Here is Wyatt ready for his car ride. I have to admit I was a very nervous Mommy. I wasn't sure how the little dude would do. Wyatt spent the car ride taking naps, singing songs with Mommy and Daddy, and playing with his toys. He really loved the See n' Say he got from Grandma. That kept him busy for hours. Here is Wyatt and his huffalump

Wyatt meets Miss Annabel Lily. She was a very good sharer and let Wyatt play with all her neat toys. They both spoke "Ewok" to each other. It was really cute.

Daddy and Wyatt playing.

Paul taught Wyatt to knock down blocks. I think Wyatt was far too into the stacks though.

The whole bunch just before our ride back home. I know Wyatt can't wait to go back sometime soon.

Wyatt Speaks- Seven Months

I thought as an addition to Wyatt's posts I would try to add some videos of him doing things like speaking, crawling, walking. Here he is "talking". Stan and I love this short because it looks like Wyatt is asking "What is that?" at the end when he turns toward the camera. Anyway enjoy our little chatty man, we sure do!!!

7 Months Old- Those Summer Nights

The past few weeks have gone by so fast (typical of the summer). Wyatt has just been growing and changing in so many ways. Some days I look at him and it is hard to think of him as this little guy who just laid there in and out of sleep all day. He has become a bright eyed friendly little guy. Lots of new things have been added to Wyatt's repatoire this month! For one thing Wyatt is now eating second foods. Which means he has had more food and chunkier food. We have introduced some meats to him as well. Wyatt has been working really hard on crawling and I think will be there before we know it so in preparation Stan and I have been working really hard on getting the house ready. I managed to get some of Wyatt's break throughs on camera.

Wyatt has been interacting with his toys more and more. Here he is in his exersaucer. He looks so tall. We would walk into Wyatt's room and see an arm or a leg sticking over the edge of the crib so we thought it was time to move it down. Since crawling and walking are so close developmentally we moved the crib all the way down to the lowest setting. Here he is on his first night on the big boy setting.

Rump Roast, Anyone? A new development for 7 months, Wyatt has been sleeping with his booty in the air.

A new take on the moonwalk- Wyatt learned this back shuffle from Sugar who loves to let her back paws go limp and walk backwards on her front paws. It is so silly to watch Wyatt copy her.

There is no bigger incentive to start crawling than getting Sugar. Wyatt can't wait to be able to catch her when she runs away. He always reaches out for her and gets all excited when she comes near. Look out Sug pretty soon he's going to be comin for you!!

Wyatt working on his push-ups. He has really been working those arms!
We have been working on Wyatt's sweet tooth. Recently Momma has made him oatmeal with cinnamon and sugar and he has been drinking some yummy juice. We thought we would introduce the sippy cup too. He loves to hold onto the handles while he drinks.

Wyatt playing with Boo-boo while chilling in Mommy and Daddy's bed.

Wyatt loves to snuggle with his Momma. He just fell fast asleep.
