Wyatt's First Mother's Day!

I would say the celebrating really began on Friday. Stan was feeling a little sick and we thought it would be a really great idea for him to take Wyatt to see Nonna and all her friends at work. From what I hear Wyatt was his usual social butterfly self and loved meeting all his new friends from NIH. On Friday night, Daddy treated Mommy to an extra long hairbrushings which was not only just what the doctor order but was a great way to relax after a looong day. Wyatt slept so soundly on Friday night and everyone let Momma sleep in until 10 in the morning! What an amazing Mother's Day weekend we had! First, we met Grandma and Pappy at the nail salon so Mommy and Grandma could get a manicure and pedicure. Poor Wyatt was all man and was not interested in spending his time in a nail place so daddy walked him around the area a little. Then we went to Miyako, a yummy Japanese resterant, where Wyatt got his first cooking lesson. They guy said he would teach him how to cook and then brought out the fire. It was so funny to see the look on Wyatt's face when the fire got really big. His eyes opened all large and his mouth was agape but I have to say I was impressed because there were no tears. He is such a brave little man!
On Sunday, we met Nonna and Pop-Pop for a very delicious meal in Urbana. It was the cutest little resterant that proves do not judge a book by its cover. The outside was really plain but the food was extraorindary! They had the most delicious handmade desserts. We all left with our bellys totally satisfied. Wyatt was the little charmer at the resterant too. Everyone kept coming up to him and talking. He just loves to flash everyone that huge smile!

I got some really great stuff for Mother's Day. Wyatt made me a card at daycare and it was so sweet. Then Wyatt and Daddy got me a special Mother's Day card that was so touching. I also got the full series of That 70s Show on DVD. Everything was so perfect! It made me realize what a blessing Wyatt is. He just has the most amazing smile and is so much fun to be around. I love his laid back personality and how he always seems to brighten the day. I am truley lucky to be his mommy!

Now a little special treat:
