Disney Days- Part 2

We had arrived and Wyatt was all ready to get to a park and try out some of those rides we had been telling him about all week.  So after the Sunday Gospel Brunch where Daddy ate them out of cheese grits and mommy out of their mac n'cheese and collards we decided to head to Hollywood Studios.
Wyatt loved riding the bus and showing his Mickenthusiasm!

Someone needs to tell Daddy that man doesn't have a real coke!
 YO HO HO!!!

Monday- We had breakfast at the contemporary's Chef Mickeys.  It was super yummy and of course it was loaded with lots more of Wyatt's friends!

Then we headed over to the Magic Kindgom for rides, parades, delicious food, and of course some nice old fashioned haircuts.

Wyatt had a blast at the Magic Kindgdom and he really loved the laugh floor and getting to meet Buzz Lightyear (or Buzz Lightgear as Wyatt calls him).

Tuesday- We had lunch at Le Cellier in Canada and dinner at Coral Reef.  We also played the Kim Possible game while we were there and we LOVED it!  There are all sorts of cool stuff hidden all around Epcot that you would never know was there unless you played the missions.  Wyatt of course ran into a lot more of his friends and got to ride on some neat rides.  He really loved the Journey Into the Imagination this year.  While we were walking in he was having a party watching figment on the screen and dancing all around! Wyatt also got to see his Duffy in big form.  Wyatt LOVES his Duffy bear and sleeps with him every night so get to meet the real Duffy was a super treat for Wyatt.

My Rough n'tough Viking!

Daddy could not convince Wyatt that he was the real Duffy

so we found where Duffy really was and Wyatt was in Heaven!

Next it was time for some fun at the Animal Kingdom (at this point we were taking full advantage of that Park Hopper pass so I can't say what day we were where)
Wyatt is quite infamous for never keeping his 3-D glasses on during a movie but for some reason during the It's Tough to Be A Bug show he decided to keep his glasses on through the whole thing.  Poor guy, I think he may never watch another 3-D movie with his glasses on again-LOL!

Wyatt also got to get on his very first bigger kid ride- the Kali River Rapids which you had to be 38" to ride and he was certainly above that.  Wyatt did really good on the ride and really enjoyed himself even though he got quite wet.

One morning we ate breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.  It was delicious and it was cool to get to meet some friends that we hadn't seen yet on the trip.

The trip was perfect.  We were able to go to all the theme parks and even get to enjoy the pool and the movie night at our hotel.  We got lots of rest and had a blast too!
Here is Daddy and Wyatt by the pool:

'OHANA was by far my favorite of all the eats!  It was lots of amazing foods and I was in Heaven! Just to let you all know the beast really came out this day!

It was all cooked on an open wood fire- I am currently drooling!

After 'OHANA we headed over to celebrate our last night in Disney at the Magic Kingdom.  Wyatt was really into the Pirates ride and he really wanted to ride it one last time.

As we were leaving we stopped for one last photopass picture.  It was these last couple pictures that summed up how amazing our trip really was.

Some of the magic is preserved in film and the rest in preserved in our memories.  What a great trip!

Counting Down The Days....

This is our Disney Countdown.  To get Wyatt all jazzed up about going to Disney, Mommy and Wyatt made these neat Disney characters/ scenes.  Wyatt has had a blast taking the watercolor down each night and they have served as a great visual as to how long we have until the Disney trip finally arrives.

Wyatt has been counting each little watercolor every night.  It will be so cool when they are all down and it is time to get in the car and make our way to Mickey's house!!!!!

Car show/ Happy Birthday Poppi!

Today we all went to the Washington DC car show to see all the neat new cars that are out today and to celebrate Poppi's birthday.  Wyatt had a blast seeing all the cool cars and loved being able to get inside behind the wheels.  He was running from car to car and always had his eye on the driver's seat.

Wyatt the patriot:

Looks like he already has a comfortable driving position.  It sort of makes him look like a driving pro, huh?

There were lots of characters at the car show this year and Wyatt and William couldn't wait to see them, did I mention that Daddy was also super excited to see them!? Must be getting his practice in for the big Disney trip!

Wyatt all red in the face after running in and out of cars for so long:

I know he is going to be a mess when he is a teenager.  He just gravatated to this car!

After so many cool characters to see and running all around that huge convention floor Wyatt was spent!  Afterward we all enjoyed a delicious dinner at Clydes in Washington, DC and then rode the train home.  Poor Wyatt he was such a tired little man!

Happy New Year!!!

To celebrate a New Year coming in we headed over to Uncle John & Aunt Maggie's house for some yummy eats, play games and to watch the ball drop at midnight.

Wyatt & William watched a movie while the Mommys and Daddys played games:

Aunt Maggie got these delicious cakes/cupcakes.  They were super awesome!

Poor Wyatt got really tired and couldn't stay up all the way to midnight.

When the ball dropped everyone shouted "Happy New Year" and started with the kisses:

Sugar was very happy to be celebrating with Tuppins this year, doggy kisses:

Although that didn't save her from some Stan kisses:

Even though Bubbs was asleep he got some 2012 kisses too:

Mommy kissing her baby Sug:
Afterward Mommy and Daddy headed home so Wyatt and William could have their sleepover.  Wyatt really likes getting to sleep over with William.  He loves getting to wake up and have his best buddy right there ready to play!
