March Brings Spring Snow
This morning we started our day off pretty normally until our line leader (Wyatt) saw outside and said "It's Christmas". We were pretty surprised when we looked outside and saw lots and lots of beautiful snow. Wyatt couldn't wait to get outside and jump on a sled. He saw our next door neighbors outside in their snow gear building a snowmen so Wyatt and Daddy headed out to join them and enjoy what is (hopefully) or last gift of snow for this winter.
It was actually the perfect time for a good snow since Mommy used the left over chicken from the Easter celebration to make a stock and what is better to come inside to after playing all day in the snow then a nice hot bowl of fresh homemade chicken noodle soup?

Murgolo Pre-Easter Celebration
Today Mommy, Daddy, Nonna, Granddaddy, Millie, Aida, Uncle John, Aunt Maggie, and William gathered at Uncle John & Aunt Maggie's house to celebrate Easter. We had lots of activities planned and the boys were ready for some Easter fun!!
We all jumped right in dying Easter eggs. We had lots of different dyes and Nonna even brought super cool kits where you could stamp the eggs or create a stencil on the eggs. Everyone let their creativity soar and we all had lots of colorful delicious Easter eggs:
After egg dying we had some play time and then it was time to do the Easter egg hunt. The boys were all excited to get out there and grab up those eggs. Within minutes William and Wyatt were out the door and in a race to get their eggs:
The competition was fierce:
Look at that determination:
After all the eggs were found it was time to go inside and open up those eggs to see what prizes they had found:
After some more play time it was time for William and Wyatt to open their Easter baskets. Wyatt got a lot of super cool stuff in his baskets! He got lots and lots of yummy candy/snack goodies and super cool toys.
Tuppins was hoping Wyatt would share some of his goodies:
Wyatt loved his kite and couldn't wait until to go outside and let the wind carry it into the sky. We had lots more to do and a delicious dinner ahead of us so the kite would have to wait for another day.
After the baskets we all sat down to a delicious dinner. The boys were very good at dinner and Wyatt was very proud of himself for eating all of his ham bites. He certainly earned his piece of the delicious Easter Bunny ice cream cake:
