Disney Days- Pt. 1

The countdown was finally down to only one more face left and Wyatt was so happy to get to turn Mickey's face around and see the other side that said "Gone 2 Disney"!  He wasn't too sure what Disney was but knew if Mickey was going to be there that it was going to be super cool!

Of course we had to bring the whole group along!
Wyatt was a super trooper all the way down to Savannah.  He played video games, sang songs, and played a game of friends BINGO (where we look for names of friends on street signs).

When we finally arrived at our hotel Wyatt was so excited.  We spent sometime partying in the room and then hit the town of Savannah to get some dinner.
One of our favorite parts of the whole trip is getting to walk all around beautiful Savannah and getting to see all the neat history around the waterway.  We were very lucky this trip because we were able to get into Lady and Sons restaurant!  Daddy had a delicious steak and Mommy got the yummy crabcakes.  It was a great meal!
Wyatt really loved the elevator in our hotel.  He watched as we went way up to our room.
In the morning we got to see lots of big ships coming in through the waterway.  Wyatt was so excited when he saw a huge ship coming through!
They gave us one of their best rooms for this trip so we had a room where two of the walls were windows.  It was awesome to get to see the city of Savannah on one side and on the other the beautiful water.
The bridge view from our room:
Although we would love to spend more time in Savannah we knew it was time to hit the road because Mickey was waiting on us in Florida!  Here is Mommy and Wyatt and our traditional Florida sign picture:
Wyatt loved his Florida fresh Orange juice!
We decided to stop at a Steak n' Shake for lunch before we reached Diney World.
We were so happy to see that sign and we were ready to share the magic of Disney with a very eager Wyatt!
This trip we stayed at our favorite Disney hotel: Coronado Springs.  This was the hotel that Daddy and Mommy stayed at when they came to Disney together for the first time.
We have a Disney tradition where we take a picture by this fountain:
Daddy and Wyatt and then Mommy and Wyatt, we have been doing this since the start and we love this tradition!
Wyatt got to fish for stickers at check-in and they gave him a cool balloon and then we headed to our room.  Wyatt loved that the room was right across from the quiet pool so he knew we wouldn't forget to go swimming on this trip.
Our first dinner in Disney was at the Yachtsman Steakhouse.  It was very good and Momma has the glow that only a delicious pork belly can give!
Afterward we headed into Epcot to see if Wyatt was going to be tall enough to get on the 40 inch rides.  We were pretty bummed when we saw he was just shy of the top so he wasn't going to be able to ride those rides on this trip.  We weren't going to let that ruin our cool Disney vacation so we decided to seek out Mickey Mouse and all of his friends to show Wyatt how cool Disney really is.  Wyatt had a blast meeting all of Mickey's friends and of course the Mouse himself.  It was such a great way to start out our trip:

We ended our night with a quick ride on Spaceship Earth and then headed back to the room
so Wyatt and his Boo Boop and Duffy could watch the tuck-in channel.  Wyatt loved cuddling with his bearsis and watching the story of Duffy Bear.  He was already in Heaven and the trip had just begun!

Disney Days- Part 2

We had arrived and Wyatt was all ready to get to a park and try out some of those rides we had been telling him about all week.  So after the Sunday Gospel Brunch where Daddy ate them out of cheese grits and mommy out of their mac n'cheese and collards we decided to head to Hollywood Studios.
Wyatt loved riding the bus and showing his Mickenthusiasm!

Someone needs to tell Daddy that man doesn't have a real coke!
 YO HO HO!!!

Monday- We had breakfast at the contemporary's Chef Mickeys.  It was super yummy and of course it was loaded with lots more of Wyatt's friends!

Then we headed over to the Magic Kindgom for rides, parades, delicious food, and of course some nice old fashioned haircuts.

Wyatt had a blast at the Magic Kindgdom and he really loved the laugh floor and getting to meet Buzz Lightyear (or Buzz Lightgear as Wyatt calls him).

Tuesday- We had lunch at Le Cellier in Canada and dinner at Coral Reef.  We also played the Kim Possible game while we were there and we LOVED it!  There are all sorts of cool stuff hidden all around Epcot that you would never know was there unless you played the missions.  Wyatt of course ran into a lot more of his friends and got to ride on some neat rides.  He really loved the Journey Into the Imagination this year.  While we were walking in he was having a party watching figment on the screen and dancing all around! Wyatt also got to see his Duffy in big form.  Wyatt LOVES his Duffy bear and sleeps with him every night so get to meet the real Duffy was a super treat for Wyatt.

My Rough n'tough Viking!

Daddy could not convince Wyatt that he was the real Duffy

so we found where Duffy really was and Wyatt was in Heaven!

Next it was time for some fun at the Animal Kingdom (at this point we were taking full advantage of that Park Hopper pass so I can't say what day we were where)
Wyatt is quite infamous for never keeping his 3-D glasses on during a movie but for some reason during the It's Tough to Be A Bug show he decided to keep his glasses on through the whole thing.  Poor guy, I think he may never watch another 3-D movie with his glasses on again-LOL!

Wyatt also got to get on his very first bigger kid ride- the Kali River Rapids which you had to be 38" to ride and he was certainly above that.  Wyatt did really good on the ride and really enjoyed himself even though he got quite wet.

One morning we ate breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.  It was delicious and it was cool to get to meet some friends that we hadn't seen yet on the trip.

The trip was perfect.  We were able to go to all the theme parks and even get to enjoy the pool and the movie night at our hotel.  We got lots of rest and had a blast too!
Here is Daddy and Wyatt by the pool:

'OHANA was by far my favorite of all the eats!  It was lots of amazing foods and I was in Heaven! Just to let you all know the beast really came out this day!

It was all cooked on an open wood fire- I am currently drooling!

After 'OHANA we headed over to celebrate our last night in Disney at the Magic Kingdom.  Wyatt was really into the Pirates ride and he really wanted to ride it one last time.

As we were leaving we stopped for one last photopass picture.  It was these last couple pictures that summed up how amazing our trip really was.

Some of the magic is preserved in film and the rest in preserved in our memories.  What a great trip!
