Summertime!

Wyatt huffed and he puffed and he blew those bubbles out!

And he rested in the sun

More bubbles only this time it was a little easier

Cause Wyatt had it down

Then he found the squirt gun

and turned on his own Mommy!

Happy Father's Day!!

Wyatt was sick all Father's Day weekend so he wasn't able to do fishing with Pappy like he had planned or go to Knobles with Daddy like he had planned but he still wanted to make Daddy's day special so Wyatt and Mommy made a special breakfast and Daddy went out with Uncle John to pick up some delicious doughnuts. Wyatt helped Mommy make scrambled eggs. He poured in the milk, beat the egg, and ground some fresh ground pepper in the mix. Mommy poured the egg in the pan and finished it off. Wyatt is becoming quite the chef!

We had such a feast even Sugar came up to give Daddy her love or maybe it was to score a piece of bacon. Wyatt loved keeping Daddy company even though he wasn't too into eating at that time.

We had a big day planned with Nonna and Pop pop and Uncle John, Aunt Maggie, and Cousin William. We went to see Mr. Popper's penguins where Wyatt got to snuggle with some of his favorite people and then headed over to the Melting Pot for a nice meal. Wyatt once again pigged out on their apples. I would have to say that might be his favorite thing to eat. He actually got mad when I dared to dip his fruit in chocolate. (That's not weird at all-LOL).

Afterward Wyatt cuddled in with Daddy for a nice Father's Day nap.

Like Father like Son

Our Little Chef

As a special Father's Day surprise Mommy and Wyatt got all the fixins to make a super yummy batch of chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Wyatt was very special Jr. Chef and helped Mommy a lot. Mommy measured the ingrediants and had Wyatt add them while the blender did all the hard work (isn't my blender beautiful-ahhhh its love). Mommy made Wyatt wear this apron while he cooked and Mommy wore one too.

Wyatt did such a great job adding everything and making sure the blender was going at the right speed.

And of course a hard worker who was willing to wear a huge apron and be Mommy's Little helper deserved a reward. What better reward than a bunch of semi sweet chocolate chips.

Here is Wyatt's cookies in action

and of course more snacking while we wait

Voila our finished product!

Poor Wyatt was feeling sick that day (and not from the chocolate chips) and so after he did his kitchen duty he decided to rest on the couch and decorate the card for Daddy.

He did a great job and was such a special helper.

Potty Hobby

Recently Wyatt has gotten really into using the potty. Everytime he has diaper time he asks to go to the potty and everytime he pee pees in the potty Wyatt gets a special sticker! Recently Wyatt has wanted to spend more and more time sitting on the potty. Of course we all know when you plan to be in there a looooooong time there is really only one good way to pass the time: Yes its true Wyatt has become quite the toilet reader.

Now before every potty time Wyatt runs over to his bookshelf and picks his next good read.

Just wait until he realizes that Daddy uses the cell phone in the bathroom.
