Decorating the Pumpkins

Today Momma got the fingerpaints out and had Wyatt paint his pumpkin for Halloween. Wyatt had so much fun putting his hands in the paint and getting it all over the pumpkin. He also loved to put the paint in his mouth (hence the blue lips in later pics)

Wyatt had to make sure he got some paint on the stem too.

After Wyatt was finished and Momma put the pumpkin by the fan to dry Wyatt gave Momma one big TAAAA DAAAA!

Hallo-celebration at Goddard

The celebration at Goddard was great! There was a parade with all the kids in their costumes and then a big party in the backyard. They had a musician come out and give a concert. He sang all sorts of great kids songs and had everyone (Wyatt included) rocking out!

Here is my little Mister in his classroom waiting for his big parade debut! This is Wyatt's best bud Wade. Wade made the best little billy goat. Everyone loved his little horns.

My little penguin showing off all of his costume. Everyone came up to me and said what a cute little penguin he was. And his teachers called him Happy Feet all day long.

Here are Wyatt's teachers Ms. Talia and Ms. Nora. They are so much fun Stan and I love to go in and talk to them.

Here is Wyatt and Momma with Wyatt's first girlfriend, Gianna, and her Mommy. Gianna made the cutest little bumblebee.

Justin didn't have a costume and missed the festivities so Momma and Wyatt decided to go inside after the concert and spend sometime playing with him. Mommy played tickle monster with Wyatt and Justin and they laid on the floor laughing waiting to see who was the next to be tickeled. Here they are learning the value of a dollar.

Jumbo's Pumpkin Patch & Petting Zoo

On Saturday it was so gloomy and poor Wyatt had to get a flu shot so we had to stay in instead of getting to play with Pop pop and Nonna at Butler;s Orchard. We decided it would be better to postpone our visit to next week.

Today Momma decided to take Wyatt to see Pappy and Grandma and to visit her friend Amy's family farm Jumbos (in Middletown). It was the perfect place to take kids of any age and there was so much for Wyatt to see and explore. He had such a great time and got to spend a lot of quality time with Grandma and Pappy Freeze. Jumbos was such a beautiful farm and it had these amazing views of the Middletown skyline. It reminded me of what I really loved about growing up there and seeing all those beautiful colors in the fall and those tall mountains. Here is a little photo journey for everyone about our special day.
First things first let get you all sized up little man!!! Also at Jumbo's was a petting zoo where Wyatt really had some fun. I knew Wyatt loved Sugar but I never knew what an animal lover he was. He had no fear either he would just stand there trying to touch each of the animals with a huge smile on his face.
Here Wyatt discovers the sheep
and here the sheep discovers Wyatt.

This little calf and Wyatt had a real bond. She just loved him so much and gave him all sorts of kisses on his hands...and face. He was so brave and laughed while she did it. He would just keep petting her and smiling at her. Afterward his hands were all wet and as we left he kept looking back at her like "bye friend."

Wyatt sitting in the grass letting the chicken come to him. The chicken kept getting chased by all the children I would feel bad but I hate chickens so I just thought it was funny.

Wyatt reaching out for the horsey next. He kept desperately trying to get the horses attention. Wyatt and Grandma play in line while waiting for the face painting. Wyatt also made a friend in the line as well and she had a hat too so they both twirled their hats around and giggled at each other. Who could resist my little cowboy!

Wyatt admiring his new tatoo. He did such a great job and was the best little boy sitting really still while the lady put it on. He loved the result and didn't want to give the mirror back.

Wyatt got to ride his very first pony. He loved riding on the horse and mommy was so proud that he instinctivly knew to hold onto the horn on the saddle. He sure did his cowboy name (Wyatt) right. Meanwhile Grandma learned how to use Mommy's camera, in her defense the horse was moving a little fast and my camera is not so good with the action.

Wyatt was so proud of his neat cowboy hat. Here the bronco poses with his Pappy.

The cowboys, Wyatt and Pappy looking for a Pumpkin in the corn field. There's that skyline I was talking about. I think I am developing a little photo project for a room in my house.
Wyatt standing in all the pumpkins...looking for the perfect one! Boy all those pumpkins sure make him look little.
Wyatt and Grandma waiting in line to buy his new Halloween pumpkin. Tomorrow Mommy is going to get some finger paints and on Friday Momma and Wyatt are going to get his pumpkin all ready for Halloween!

Double Digits- 10 Months Old

Wyatt is such a playful, curious little mister! It is amazing how much cruising has awakened his inner explorer. Mommy and Daddy have been working on helping Wyatt to walk and he has been doing great at taking steps so he just has to work on the balance and then he'll give us a run for our money. So some of Wyatt's favorite things, he loves toys all kinds of toys, he loves anything that he can put in his mouth that won't get taken away, he really enjoys everything about Sugar, love to wrestle with Mommy and Daddy, and loves to try to walk (yeah he just randomly will let go of things and then BOOM on the floor- what bravery). He is very positive in nature which is such a blessing. He moves past his boo boos very fast and always goes right back to a smile.

Wyatt loves to play with Sugar. Here he is teasing her with her giant cupcake. Eventually Momma has to take the toy and throw it so Sugar doesn't explode. I know Sugar will be really excited when Wyatt grasps the "throw" part of the Fetch game! Yesterday seemed like a good day to give Wyatt a big surprise! Mommy bought these popsickles so she would not be tempted by sweets (not the best plan) it turns out that the popsickles were just the thing to soothe some aching gums.

Since Mommy had the day off for Columbus Day (sorry I am so late with this post) she decided to hang out a little with Wy-guy and his daycare buds!!!
Wyatt loves his daycare class. He has already made so many friends and there are always so many toys and activities to do. Here Wyatt is playing with the walker at daycare.

Wyatt got a really excited to play with his buddy Justin!! They have been in daycare together since the beginning. Wyatt's other friends (who were napping while Momma was visiting) are Wade, Andrew, and Gianna. Wyatt's teachers are trying to create a love match between Gianna and Wyatt. Since she was wearing a "juicy couture" outfit Momma is supporting this match.

More with Wyatt and Justin. They are so cute!

Wyatt decided to help daddy with the dishes after dinner one night. He also decided that his cell phone needed a good cleaning. Don't worry Daddy took it out before it got a washing.
Wyatt is such a proud little helper!

Wyatt showing off his new outfit from Grandma and Pappy Freeze. He has the best little smiles and just loves the drums!!

Wyatt has been a serious cruiser for the last several weeks. He can make it all around the house now and is not at all shy about his explorations. Mommy is still keeping her fingers crossed for Wyatt to be an archeologist- c'mon live out my dreams little man (just kidding he can be whatever he want to be).

Comedy and Tragedy/ Applause!

Wyatt loves to mimic everything his mommy and daddy do. One thing he loves to do is cheer us on with some applause.

Wyatt's Busy Weekend

I decided to take several pics following Wyatt throughout his day on Saturday.

Stan and I decided to full the tub up and let Wyatt go to town. Here is Wyatt causing all sorts of mayhem in the bathtub you can see his turtle splish and fish splash next to him. After his bath Wyatt got dired off and while Mommy picked out the perfect outfit for the day Wyatt spent some quality time showing his affections for his teddy bear.
Then we all met Uncle John, Aunt Maggie, and Cousin William at the Ellicott City Fire Department. Here Daddy and Wyatt pose by some of the vehicles they had on display.

They had all sorts of great free stuff there. Wyatt loved his fireman helmut and cool fireman ducky he got!

Then after some lunch and a nice nap it was time to wake up and start playing again. Here is Wyatt playing with his walker (on loan from Cousin William).

Mommy's Birthday!

Momma has had lots of fun birthday celebrations. On Saturday, Momma, Daddy, Stan, Grandma, Pappy, Nonna, and Pop-pop went out to Cheesecake Factory for a very nice meal. Then Grandma and Pappy came back to the house to play BEatles rockband and cards. It was a great birthday celebration.

Then on MOnday (Oct. 5th) Miss Sonya, Miss Tanya, and Miss Margot got Mommy a big balloon from work to bring home to baby Wyatt. Wyatt's eyes lit the second he saw the balloon and couldn't wait to be able to get in some quality balloon playtime! Here is Bubba and Momma and her Happy Birthday Balloon!Wyatt really enjoyed pulling the balloon down and hitting people in the head with it.Here is Wyatt proving he is just as saucey as his Momma. One day Bubbas one day very soon....

Naked Bubbie

We were getting Wyatt ready for his bath the other day but needed to get the bathroom all set before we brought him in. He was having so much fun playing naked in his crib I thought what the heck and let him go to town. Ok so I wanted some more cute naked pictures to embarass him when he is old enough to have a girlfriend.
This is Wyatt and his teddy, Tet (we let him name the bear and that was the first thing he said so Tet it is!). He has gotten so into his toys and just loves for us to play with him. He never wants to sit now that Wyatt can crawl and pull up he is always on the go!
I just love this photo. I actually was lucky because I already had the camera in his room and when I walked back into the room to take him into the bath he just had this huge playful smile on his face. I couldn't resist taking the picture.

You can see from both of this week's pics that Wyatt is still toothless. I am thinking that it won't be long now so I just have to hold on a little longer.
