An Old Moo

Today is Wyatt's Move-up day and I am so excited for him. Wyatt is offically an Old Moo today. This means he is in a class with the older babies. He is moving up with his friends from the younger Moos class, Gianna and Wade. Wade and Wyatt are best buds and like to beat up on each other which I think is funny and very male. His new teacher has been looking forward to Wyatt being in her class for so long. She said to me the other day, "You have the best babies, I mean it, if you want to have anymore you have my blessing". She has been talking to me about how much she loves Wyatt and couldn't wait to have him in her class. She is always impressed with how much he smiles. I know he is going to have a lot of fun with her and is going to learn a lot which makes me really happy.

Last week Wyatt had off from daycare on Thursday and Friday so Pappy came down to spend sometime with him. Pappy did a great job and Wyatt was so sad on Saturday when he woke up and Pappy wasn't there. They did all sorts of great playing and even watch Tiger Woods play some golf. I would be into Wyatt playing some golf I have to say. It was nice to have my daddy around and Stan and I really enjoyed getting a chance to hang out with him. No one was more bummed that Pappy had left than Sugar. She really misses him and then whole next day she just sat around moping. Poor Tuggi Dawg. But there's always next daycare day off.

Playing Catch-Up

So much has been happening with Wyatt but our internet has been less than reliable recently so I thought I would take some time today to post as many pictures as possible and give a little update since Disney World is fast approaching (Ok I am starting to get really excited now!!!) and I know that we are going to have a lot to post there.
He has so much going on now that he is crawling. Stan and I are still not used to seeing him in one place one minute and then looking up and seeing him across the room. We are trying to keep our place as baby proof as possible but you never know what will pop up as interesting to a baby. It is so neat to see him crawling around though and I am so excited for him to be mobile. Poor Sugar is not so keen on all of this because she is usually being chased now. Wyatt just loves to follow Sugar around and then mocks her pain. He just laughs when Sugar runs away. Before the crawling came pushing up to standing which at first made us think he would never crawl. He is still trying to get used to standing and needs support but is doing really well with it. He is coming along with his solids and we have been letting him eat some table food every now and then which is nice. Of course the first thing I ever let him sample, a fajita tortilla.

Sooooo without further delay away we go... This says it all. Wyatt has been working on a tooth for a little while now and I still haven't been able to see it. I have been giving him some homeopathic medicine to help him along but he is still having a hard time. If there isn't a pacifier in his mouth he is chewing on his fingers. I just keeping telling the poor guy that we have all been there and hope for the best.
Any questions for our swami? I have one "What is the secret to all that happiness?"

Here is Wyatt on his knees playing with the school bus. I will have to post some more pics of him. He has been pulling himself up left and right. It is so neat to see him standing. He is also doing a great job walking with Momma although he still has mastered the art of rolling his ankle back so he always looks like he is walking in heel or looks like Barbie or something. LOL!

Wyatt was none too happy when Daddy thought it would be funny to climb into Wyatt's crib--did I mention that Momma was none too happy about this too...yeah...yeah.

Hanging at the OC & RB

Stan and I were so excited to take Wyatt to Ocean City and Rehoboth Beach this year. We couldn't wait to do so many things with him but we were unable to stay as long as we had planned and a tropical storm kept us from being able to go down last weekend. Still we all had a great time and Wyatt seemed to really enjoy his time at the Beach. We got to spend a lot of time in Rehoboth but didn't really get to do much in Ocean City. Next year, we are going to do it all! The picture above is a great little intro picture, here is Wyatt at Grottos, oh the memories of Grottos!

Here is Pop-Pop, Daddy, Cousin William, and Wy guy all relaxing? in the bed at Seawatch after a long trip down to the beach. Saturday we got in a little late so we hung out in the room and let the kids play. Then we went out to Dumsers for dinner and got a huuuuge downpour. On Sunday morning, we all woke up and went to breakfast at the Dough Roller. It was nice strolling Wyatt along the boards in Ocean City. He loved looking at all the people and would smile when he looked out at the ocean. He looked so serene in his stroller hanging out. As I said before we didn't really get to do the beach too much but I can see Wyatt next year under the umbrella laying out on the beach with Pop-pop.

After breakfast and a nice long nap we all headed to Delaware for an accidental pizza fest! We went to Grottos for lunch (which I hadn't had in so many years it was great to go back and try their pizza again) and then Nicola Pizza for dinner. But I am getting ahead of myself, Here is William on one of the rides at Funland. He rode on so many rides and did so well. You can tell he is going to be a little thrill seeker when he gets older.

Wyatt showing his enthusiasm for the beach!

William was a pro this year at the games!!! Not only did this little Mister get the silver cup in the Goblet Toss game (and win the jumbo prize) but he also raced his horsey really well. Here is William going for a red slot! Go William GO!

Ha! Something funny about this picture I just realized that Maggie and I are wearing the exact same color. Ok so here is Wyatt playing the horsey game. Mommy really rolled the ball for him but he did a great job getting it from the bottom and handing it to her.

Wyatt at Nicola pizza. This was his second time at Nicola pizza but this was a special time because Joan Caggiano came out and said hi to him and ask how everything was going. Wyatt loved to watch the train go around and around. What did Wyatt not love? Momma letting him try some Red Devil sauce. He tensed his muscles a little and got a little red. Then he looked at me and smiled. Wyatt also got to taste some of the ground beef in daddy's Nic-a-boli. He seemed to really like that.

"No more hot sauce Momma!"

Cousin William proved he was a brave little man and made it through the Haunted House. I love the expression on his face here.

Joking the whole way through, Momma and Nonna come out of the Haunted House with no troubles.

"Who's bad?" Daddy and Uncle John get daring on this crazy ride.
Momma and Wy guy on the carousel for his first ride ever. You can see Momma was much more excited than baby (we actually had to wake Wyatt up for the ride).

Wyatt survives his very first ride with a smile!

After the carousel Wyatt waved "bye-bye" to Nonna, Pop-pop, and Rehoboth Beach.

Wyatt did a great job at the beach and loved spending time with his family. He always seems in awe of William and all the neat things the big kids do. Next year Stan and I are looking forward to spending more time in Ocean City and taking Wyatt to have a hot dog at the Atlantic Stand. I am thinking that may come sooner than we think but we'll wait at least until he has teeth.

Wyatt Has Something Up His Sleeve

Yeah for ME!! Wyatt showed off big tricks last weekend. Now Wyatt can move himself from laying down position to an upright sitting position. AND Wyatt can now pull himself to standing.
Wyatt and Pappy sitting on the couch watching a little TV. Wyatt looks like a cowboy about to take a nap on his horse.

Pappy and Wyatt pose for a picture.

Wyatt was trying to call Daddy because he was working late on this night. He and his bear wanted to know when to expect him home.

Wyatt on all fours. He is so close to crawling. He gets on all fours and will rock there for a while. Occasionally he will get it where he moves a foot forward but the coordination thing gets him all jumbled. We just have to keep cheering him on!

Blackbird Singing

Here are some highlights from the two weeks ago. Things have been kinda crazy around here so I haven't had time to post much so I am doing it tonight--double time!
I love this picture, ever since Wyatt saw Julia playing with this little caterpiller toy he has been in love with it. He just lays on top of it and gives it hugs while it plays music. Such innocence. Stan and I were talking about how much this picture reminds us of when Wyatt was very little. He always would hold the blankie close to his face like that. I guess old habits...

I just think this is silly. Looks like Wyatt is learning something from Angelina Ballerina on Sprout!

After a quick diaper change Wyatt and Momma always appreciate the art on the wall. We walk over and greet all of the stuffed animals in the picture on the wall. They just make him smile. He will point to one and I will say what kind of animal it is and then he will point to another and so on and so forth.

Wyatt's first day with shoes! We thought to celebrate Nonna's birthday we would put on our dancing shoes!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NONNA!!!!!
