A Wy Guy Weekend

Wyatt is up and ready to play with his cool Mickey toys and his giraffe ball toy Do these go in here? Wyatt puts Donald Duck in serious danger.

Yummy...Pluuuuto! Whenever William comes over to play he instantly finds the toy box and gets to playing. Wyatt really looks up to his big Cousin so whatever William plays with becomes the "it" thing. Here is Wyatt playing with Sarah and Julia's old Little People Tree House. William showed Wyatt how to open and close the door, now he just can't get enough.

Wyatt and Daddy were very excited to go swimming in our community pool. Here Wyatt gets a kick out of being on Daddy's shoulders

Too bad it thunder started to sound and the pool was closed but hey there was no rain on this parade!

Wyatt is just too cool in his shades! I can't wait to take him to the beach this year!

This is what happens when Mommy puts Wyatt to bed

Here is what happens when daddy put Wyatt to bed, any questions...

Cheers To Daddy!

We celebrated Father's Day all weekend. On Saturday Momma and Wyatt woke up early so they could make Daddy some yummy waffles. So we started our Saturday off with a good breakfast and then hung out at the house and played with Wyatt. In the afternoon we met Grandma and Pappy at Hard Times in Frederick. We all ate yummy meals (and get this we were all floored when Pappy ordered vegetarian chili-I know Aunite Angie is so proud). While we were at HArd Times Wyatt was glued to the TV which was playing ESPN (which reminded me of Pop-Pop Murgolo) Then we all went to the movies to see "Up". Wyatt was great during the movie!!! And I think he really liked seeing all the beautiful balloons.

On Sunday Wyatt and Momma decided to treat Daddy to the lunch of his choice. So we went to Pub Dawg and there happen to be a musician there which made Wyatt very happy. He was banging his foot to the beat of the music (proving just how much like his daddy he really is).
Then for dinner we met Nonna and Pop-pop for some yummy dinner. After that it was back to Uncle John and Aunt Maggie's house for a play session with Cousin William (see William's World for photos-they are too cute!!!) It is so great because William and Wyatt are really starting to interact. William loves it when he gets Wyatt to say something to him.
Here are some pics from Pub Dawg.

Don't worry he's not snockered it's only Sprite!

Sitting Pretty

He teeters this way and that a little but Wyatt is offically a sitter. He has been doing such a great job sitting by himself. It is really cute if he falls at all and we weren't able to catch him first he cries for a second and then once you pick him up he starts to giggle...to precious. Look no hands, not even Ma's

Give It A Giggle

Happy Unbirthday- 1/2 a year down

Wyatt had his 6 month visit and man has he grown. Wyatt weighed 17 lbs and was 28 inches long. He is in the 40% for weight and the 90% for height.

Yesterday, we celebrated Wyatt's 1/2 birthday with food, fun, and toys! First we took the Wy to Toys R Us where (thanks to a trusty coupon) we bought him a fun toy where you press this button and all these little balls pop around. Then we went to Pei Wei for a nice dinner and Baskins Robbins for a Happy 1/2 Birthday ice cream cone. What fun, well for Stan and I it was fun, Wyatt was pretty much out for the count after the toy store. It is so great to take him now because he gets all excited about the toys we show him. After a long night Mommy gave Wyatt his bottle and rocked him while her and Daddy reminiced about when Wyatt was born and all those crazy feelings we had early on.

A Little Bit of Silly

Wyatt is almost six months and time has really been flying. He's still a baby, but he's a big baby now.

Don't be fooled by that smile this is where Wyatt decided it would be funny to tear down the baby monitor and drop it behind the crib. Little rascal! My little sweetie, he always greets us in the morning with a sweet smile.

Wyatt is doing really well at holding himself up. I think someone is gearing up for mobility.

Wyatt was having a ball rolling around and talking to his bear friends on the wall. ( I love this onesie with his little whale bottom)
Wyatt and Daddy pose for the camera.

Let the playtime commence. "You listen to me Daddy, I'm takin over this joint" (can we say Babyface Murgolo?)

Nothing like a little male bonding, Daddy's silly faces always makes Wyatt giggle. They have so much fun together.

Zoom In! What a sweet little face.

They always joke at Goddard that Wyatt has flirty eyes (they say he is their little player). I guess I have to agree, here is his over the shoulder come hither look.

Mommy wore Wyatt out on Friday by letting him play in his jumper too long. Poor boy passed out standing up and just laid there on his toy. Mommy felt so bad she moved him into his pack n'play for a nice comfortable nap...sorry Wy. I don't know if you can see it here but we also noticed Wyatt has been sleeping with one eye open, what does this say about us?

Who says boys can't have an Ariel princess wand? Not Wibby, that's for sure! Wyatt found this Ariel septor I got from a McDonalds kid's meal a long time ago and had to play with it.

Tuggi and Wyatt (in his sleepsack-or sleesack as we are calling it) enjoying the nice rug. Daddy and Mommy figured Wyatt was getting close to crawling age and needed a place for practice.

Wyatt has conquered holding his bottle all by himself. It is so nice to hand him the bottle and let him take the lead. I know they are liking this at daycare too!

Sleepy Head

Wyatt made my day, ALREADY!!! Last night Wyatt ate the whole thing of carrots (it was his first time ever eating carrots and he loved them so much. Each time I would get another bite he would bounce up and down with glee and lean forward with his mouth wide open. I think this is the first time I had really seen him get excited over his solids.) and then he and I played until daddy got home and then we all went to Taco Bell for a quick dinner. When we got home I got Wyatt ready for bed and Daddy came in and gave Wyatt his bottle while I read him his nighty night stories. Wyatt fell asleep fast, and he stayed asleep until 8 AM this morning. That's right I didn't have to wake up every couple of hours to put a pacifier in and there was no 4/5 AM bottle! It was glorious!

I am so proud of my little man!
