Baby Weezy's Rock n' Roll Band

What do you think the future Mickey Finn?
Gimme that toy! Wyatt loves his new bongo drums. They have been the perfect tool to getting some quality tummy time where Wyatt pushes up on his arms.

What can I say, It aint easy eating green. Here is Wyatt sampleing his first vegetables, green peas. At first he looked at me like "what is this mess?" but now I think he has the hang of it. Look out Wyatt next on the list is greener beaners!

Poor Weezy Wyatt, who I have been lovingly calling Weezy, has to have breathing treatments to try to get rid of his bronchitis (please don't be asthma). At first he really hated them but now he just takes the tube and sticks it into his mouth.

Pur little midnight toker, LOL

Talkin' 'bout friends: Here is Wyatt and his Baby Tad toy he just got. Wyatt loves how Baby Tad likes to talk about his feet because right now Wyatt has a little foot obsession.

A night alone with Mommy turned into a jammy fest. Here is Wyatt laying in Mommy and Daddy's bed and watching the Dancing with the Stars finale. We tried to vote but the lines were busy.

"Yo what cha lookin' at?" This must be Wyatt's new Jersey boy pose or maybe he is showing his Italian side.

Poor Wyatt has inherited his daddy's "control freak" genes. Everytime I feed him he takes the spoon away and tries to feed himself. Actually now that I think about it this could prove very useful...

To Great Pop-Pops House We Go

It has been a year since my Grandma Shirley passed away and we thought it would be nice to go up and visit her grave. When I was in Altoona visiting my Grandma in the hospital March of last year she turned to my Pop-Pop and said "Grace is pregnant" He said "Why, did she say something to you?" and she said "No, I just know, she is glowing". And now a little over a year later Wyatt is here. I miss my Grandma a lot and wish that she could have had the opportunity to see what a joy Wyatt is.

Here are some pictures of the day:

We decided to take a little break at the rest stop just over the Pennsylvania line. Pappy, Daddy, and Wyatt found a nice shaded bench to sit and relax a while.
Grandma gives Wyatt an airplane ride.

Wyatt and Grandma explore the leaves.

Already planning his next trip to PA, I see.

It is essential to have reading material on a long journey.

"I was born a travelin' man!" Wyatt at his first toll having fun playing with his Elmo.

Great Pop-Pop sharing a laugh with baby Wyatt.

5 Months Old- A Rockin' & A Rollin' A Splishin' & a Splashin'

I can't believe my little guy is already 5 months old! He is changing day to day and it is so great to watch him grow and learn. There was no doctor's appointment this month so he has avoided the shots for now. Well this is what the Wy guy looks like at the big "5 months!"

Here is a picture of Wyatt in his Rainforest bouncer. The toy in front of him with the plastic ball you turn and all the little colored balls go around and make it look like it is snowing on the penguin (like a snow globe) . I was so surprised to see Wyatt turning it himself and just staring at the balls as they go around. It is amazing how much he has learned over this short 5 months!
Wyatt is a little Rolly Polly Ol-ey! He has been rolling around like crazy! He will roll onto his belly, pull himself up, and start kicking his legs all around like he is going to crawl. He is such a tease! This month Wyatt has developed an interesting attachment to his mommy. He loves to lay on my chest and fall asleep. I have to admit I love these moments too I keep reminding myself that one day he will be too big.

Stan and I thought it would be a great idea to get Wyatt to play with the bubbles so we got a little crrrazy, but Wyatt didn't think it was so funny. Here is Wyatt with a beard-o (look out Sug!)

Here is Wyatt sitting in the Bumbo chair we borrowed from Cousin William. Look at that posture!

Wyatt has been really enjoying his rainforest bouncer. He really interacts with the toys which never ceases to amaze me.

Wyatt's First Mother's Day!

I would say the celebrating really began on Friday. Stan was feeling a little sick and we thought it would be a really great idea for him to take Wyatt to see Nonna and all her friends at work. From what I hear Wyatt was his usual social butterfly self and loved meeting all his new friends from NIH. On Friday night, Daddy treated Mommy to an extra long hairbrushings which was not only just what the doctor order but was a great way to relax after a looong day. Wyatt slept so soundly on Friday night and everyone let Momma sleep in until 10 in the morning! What an amazing Mother's Day weekend we had! First, we met Grandma and Pappy at the nail salon so Mommy and Grandma could get a manicure and pedicure. Poor Wyatt was all man and was not interested in spending his time in a nail place so daddy walked him around the area a little. Then we went to Miyako, a yummy Japanese resterant, where Wyatt got his first cooking lesson. They guy said he would teach him how to cook and then brought out the fire. It was so funny to see the look on Wyatt's face when the fire got really big. His eyes opened all large and his mouth was agape but I have to say I was impressed because there were no tears. He is such a brave little man!
On Sunday, we met Nonna and Pop-Pop for a very delicious meal in Urbana. It was the cutest little resterant that proves do not judge a book by its cover. The outside was really plain but the food was extraorindary! They had the most delicious handmade desserts. We all left with our bellys totally satisfied. Wyatt was the little charmer at the resterant too. Everyone kept coming up to him and talking. He just loves to flash everyone that huge smile!

I got some really great stuff for Mother's Day. Wyatt made me a card at daycare and it was so sweet. Then Wyatt and Daddy got me a special Mother's Day card that was so touching. I also got the full series of That 70s Show on DVD. Everything was so perfect! It made me realize what a blessing Wyatt is. He just has the most amazing smile and is so much fun to be around. I love his laid back personality and how he always seems to brighten the day. I am truley lucky to be his mommy!

Now a little special treat:
