Wyatt's Baptism

What a special day! Wyatt proved what an angel he truley is. He was just great all through the service. He loved when everyone would get up and start singing (maybe it reminded him of the last time we went to church December 14, 2008 when Mommy started her labor). He just enjoyed seeing everyone and listening to the music. I think he stole the heart of many a choir member because after the ceremony everyone came up and said what a joy it was to sing for him.

Before the ceremony we saw Pastor Myers who looked at Wyatt and said "Are you ready for today?" and Wyatt just looked back at him and flashed him this huge smile...I guess he was!

Here is Mommy and Daddy holding Wyatt at the beginning of the vows. Pastor Dave Myers reading while mommy and Daddy hold Wyatt

Pastor Myers putting the water on Wyatt's forehead. Mommy kept waiting for the cry...

but Wyatt was his usual go-with-the -flow laid back boy. He is so my little dude! Now it was time to take a walk. Pastor Myers walked Wyatt through the congregation so each person could see little Wyatt and bless him.Once again we doubted Wyatt's chill-ability. We got a little nervous waiting for the cry but it turned out Wyatt inherited his Momma's love of the spotlight! He just smiled at everyone and enjoyed all the attention. And then it was back to Momma! And then back to our pew. It was nice to hold Wyatt in church and such a joy to sing the hymns to him. Here Wyatt is hanging out with Auntie Millie and Grandma Freeze. Here is a copy of his Certificate. Listing his Uncle John and Aunt Maggie as his Godparents. They were such a great choice, they always take such joy in Wyatt and he just adores them. Wyatt especially loves when Aunt Maggie holds him that is an instant trip to Dreamland.
At the ceremony Wyatt wore this cute little man suit. It had a little tie and vest with embroidered crosses. What a daper little man he was. Also Wyatt was given a candle and a certificate. The Afterparty!!!!!

After the baptism we all went to Maggiano's for a great feast.
Here is Grandma Murgolo helping Momma to pack up Wyatt's gifts. And Aunt Maggie and Cousin William enjoying a bottle.
Wyatt got a lot of really great gifts!!!!

It truley was a blessed occasion and we are so lucky to have our family there supporting Wyatt in this journey. It reminded me of how much love surrounds Wyatt, no wonder he is such a happy little man!

3 Months Old- 1/4 of a year!

It is amazing how wonderfully Wyatt has handled all of the changes this month. He has started school and quickly become the talk of all the teachers. Everytime I walk into the building there is a new teacher telling me about how cute Wyatt is and how they just loved holding him and rocking him while he charmed them with his famous smiles. Wyatt has enjoyed being in his crib in his very own room like a big boy. He sure is glad to not have to hear daddy snoring all night. And of course Wyatt started growing teeth but he has been really great at finding all sorts of things to help him along.
More and more I notice all sorts of changes in him. He seems so much longer and his face has really started filling out. In fact we noticed that he now has a double chin (taking after his momma I see) and he has these cute little ripples in his legs. He has been rapidly adding all sorts of sounds to his vocabulary. Everytime he cries he says "mum" which just melts my heart.
Ok enough of words....

He loves to look at people- here is Wy Guy and Daddy being silly!

Wyatt is becoming a master at Tummy time and has been getting his legs a kickin. WE have also been working on supported seating and holding his own bottle!

Wyatt has been sleeping perfectly in his crib. He has just gotten a bedtime routine down. He has his bottle between 9-10 and then it is off to Dreamland until around 4 or 5 am. What a smartie! Wyatt can bring both his hands together and his feet together.Wyatt has proved he is a social creature! He loves to chat with his toys. His current favorites are Jingle, Dorothy the Giraffe (he got her from Grandma Betty on William's birthday), and his his "Under the Sea" friends on his car seat.
Here he is cuddling with his Dorothy the Giraffe toy. He loves to stare at her while she plays her happy music. Then he picks her up and gives her a nice little Wyatt hug. Next, it's straight into the mouth. Wyatt has been reaching for all sorts of neat toys. He has been doing really well with his hand-eye coordination- now if only he could teach Mommy!

This month has held a huge surprise...Wyatt is on his way to getting some teeth. Inside his mouth are all sorts of little white bumps. But as we all remember getting teeth is no easy process luckfully Wyatt has discovered that fingers in the mouth is the perfect self-help solution. Here is Wyatt pointing out his new bumps (which I couldn't get on camera) to his starfish friend.

First Day at Daycare

Wyatt woke up this morning and was very ready to have fun and meet new friends at daycare! He saw Momma all dressed up and gave her this great smile--it made me feel very pretty. My little sweetie pie! Momma and Wyatt on our first day.
Momma was very sad at first but once she got to work everyone there was so nice and excited to have her back so she was happy that she decided to stay working. The highlight of the day was picking up baby Wyatt and hearing about all the fun he had at school. He was apparently flashing smiles left and right and was a real joy for his teachers. Also today was picture day so Wyatt got some professional first day photos--What luck! I can't wait to see how they turned out. Momma was afraid that Wyatt wouldn't recognize her anymore but she was wrong because once his eyes caught a glimpse of Momma he was smiling so big and wouldn't stop looking.
Here is my special little guy trying to catch some Zzz's after a very fun first day at daycare
